Programmes for Practice Managers

UMD Professional provides courses for practice managers in professional practice that lead to the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) qualifications. We also offer a range of workshops that enable practice managers to develop their business and management skills. Dental practice managers Dental
practice managers have a choice of three management qualification
courses, the ILM Level 7 Executive Diploma in Management, the
ILM Level 5 Diploma in Management, and the ILM Level 3 Certificate
in First Line Management. We also provide a distance learning programme for those unable to attend the regular workshops leading to the ILM Certificate in First Line Management and the Diploma in Management. Dental practice managers may also benefit from the workshops on management development and training for the dental team. All our workshops are delivered by one of UMD's training team for dental practices. Veterinary practice managers Veterinary
practice managers have a choice of two management qualification
courses, the ILM Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management
and the ILM Level 5 Diploma in Management. We also provide a distance learning programme for those unable to attend the regular workshops leading to the ILM Diploma in Management. Veterinary practice managers may benefit from many of the workshops for vets. In addition we provide a one-to-one management coaching programme for veterinary practice managers covering five main areas of management which can lead to the veterinary clinic achieving the Investors in People standard. This programme comprises five coaching sessions which take place approximately one month apart. All our workshops and coaching are delivered by one of UMD's training team for veterinary practices.
